Launify Address API
The Launify Address API powers address typeahead, structured address autocomplete, and reverse geocoding. It returns ranked, deduplicated suggestions biased to a location, with rich structured details for each result.
Base URL
All endpoints are served under
Code
Requests are authenticated with an API key bound to your domain — see Authentication.
What you can do
- Address search — free-text typeahead. One query string, ranked address suggestions.
- Structured search — field-by-field autocomplete (city, street, zip, house number…).
- Reverse geocode — find the nearest known addresses to a coordinate.
- Authentication — API keys, allowed domains, and how the ACL works.
Quickstart
1. Get your API key
Your key is issued together with the domain(s) it may be used from. A key only works when the request originates from an allowed domain.
2. Make your first request
Code(bash)
3. Render the suggestions
Each result has a ready-to-display label, GPS coordinates, and a structured
details object you can store. See the
response shape.
Conventions
- Transport —
GETrequests, JSON responses, UTF-8. - Coordinates — WGS-84 (
lon,lat) in decimal degrees. - Country codes — ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 (e.g.
CZ,SK), case-insensitive. - Location bias — pass
lon/latto rank nearby results first.
